Boom! Just like that, the Legacy Leagues Week 1 are in the books, and if you missed out, here is the recap of Blood Sweat and Bear’s vs The Land, 8:00 p.m showdown game, which turned out to be a nail bitter!

However, Blood, Sweat and Beers were the ones to find success tonight, as they gutted out a 57-51 victory. With the help of their leading scorer, Cody Dileonardo, who went on to have a monster stat line, by ending with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks on an eye popping 63-percent shooting.

It was clear who wanted the win more, and Dileonardo showed that hunger tonight folks. Overall, it was a team effort that got BS&B over the hump, as every player on the ended up in the scoring column.

The key players, who did the dirty work were: Pat Gilson, Austin Kozack, and Cam Tucker. All three of them ended with nine points each, as John Brolet came up big on on the boards with ten rebounds. John specifically was great on defense, as he snacted up six defensive rebounds.

As for the losing side, Mike Cody was The Land’s star on the court, as he posted an impressive 22 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and two steals, but it unfortunately wasn’t enough to lead his team to victory.

Nick Gage was also a pest on the rebounding side of things, finishing with ten boards. One of the keys players The Land needed was Alec Ward, as he shot a discouraging 6-for-20 overall. The Land did lose a nail-bitter, but it could be taken as a positive moral victory as they prepare for their week two matchup against ZewCrew.
