Shocker City snapped a two-,game skid on Monday night, blowing out the Tune Squd 89-53. This was a game that was destined to be a blowout, and it certainly was. Jason Hernandez started off the game hitting back-to-back threes and Shocker City ran away with it from there.

After losing two in a row, this was a Shocker City team that we have been accustomed to seeing over the last few seasons. They showed that in this one having four players in double figures led by Carmine Santorelli with 23 points and Jason Hernandez with 19 of his own.

Davon Pratt returned after missing the previous two games and added 12 of his own. Pratt is clearly the heart and soul of this team as he brings energy and toughness that most teams need in order to compete for a championship.

Tune Squad battled, but ultimately did not have enough firepower in this one. Chad Mckoy had an impressive night with 20 points, and Jaden Battle added 15 of his own in a losing effort. For Tune Squad, this was just a tough night to play a desperate Shocker City team. They also did not help themselves out as they were only 2-of-16 at the free throw line. Missing 14 free throws will not win you many games in this league.

Davon Pratt made their message clear after the game.

“We’re ready…its trouble,” Pratt said.

Shocker City just needed to get woken up. They went multiple seasons seemingly without a loss, and after a few needed adjustments have their eyes back on another championship. They look to stay in the win column next week against the struggling Silly Sehenders. Tune squad looks to get back on track against a red hot NickStrong team.

Look out everyone, Shocker City is back, and is a team that nobody wants to see on a nightly bases. They’re going to need everybody’s best shot.
