It was all Sportslook in this one as they crushed Above the Rim 87-47. They started out the game on an 18-0 run and never looked back as they just kept adding to their lead.

With only four guys, they just kept on giving everything they had and emptying the tank and it paid off. Tyrell Holmes led the way with 27 points, John Zervos added 24 and 14, and Dan Kokkoros finished with 23 points. It was a balanced and unselfish performance from Sportslook who can never get a full roster to show up but it never makes anybody count them out.

Above the Rim had 23 turnovers which will not allow you to contend on any given night no matter how good or bad the team is. Eric Windley had a nice game however scoring 20 points and collecting 10 rebounds. He has been the consistent bright spot for this team as they have had a very tough season this summer.

Despite the four guys for Sportslook they still wanted to go out there and run.

“We wanted to push the ball and get out there, and let the game dictate the pace,” Holmes said. “Our defense led to our offense, we got a bunch of turnovers and we were great on the boards, and you put all of that together and you get a big win like that.”

This Sportslook team can be very sneaky in the playoffs. Even with the four man roster, they have played and competed nicely against some of the top teams in this league. Anybody who has Sportslook on their side of the bracket better pause for caution and not look ahead or take this team lightly because they will fight for all four quarters every single night.

“Were looking to just go into the playoffs and like any other team just dominate,” Holmes said.
