Lob City continued their dominance for another week as they came away with a 26-point win against The Goodfellas. Cody Crawford led the way with 27 points, followed by Victor Kashouh Jr. with 18. Lob City will face their biggest challenge of the season up to this point next week as they face off against a Finals rival in Boom-Shakalaka.

(3-0)

Boom-Shakalaka has looked unstoppable so far this season. Jose Mercado proved once again how much he could influence the game by scoring 34 points. They beat the Werewolves, who have proven themselves to be legitimate competitors this year. We will see how Boom-Shakalaka fares against Lob City next week in what will surely be a game featuring playoff intensity.

(3-0)

Good U has been impressive in every game they have played this year. They started the season as a new team in the league and wasted no time making themselves known. On the scoreboard, everyone contributed, but they were led by Ryan Palumbo with 27 points and Nick Messier with 25 points in Week 3. They will look to continue their dominance when they take on the Bucket Chasers in Week 4.

4

(2-1)

The Werewolves suffered their first loss of the season against undefeated Boom-Shakalaka, but still looked impressive. After losing Dave Campbell to injury, they will need some other scorers to step up. Brian Heston put up 27 points, which has been pretty standard up to this point in the season. Meanwhile Gino Forte and Conor Harrington stepped up with 17 and 16 points respectively.

5

(2-1)

The Boston Blazers came into this week undefeated, but could not remain that way. They fought hard against Good U, and managed to have moments where they looked very impressive. Jermaine Patterson scored 22 points, which led the Boston Blazers. One focus for upcoming weeks will need to be rebounding as they found themselves on the wrong end of 36-21 rebounding deficit in their Week 3 loss.

6

(1-2)

After playing a couple of close games, the Duje’s Boys have finally recorded their first win of the season over the Halfway Crooks, led by Zach Tartaglia and John Coutu with 26 points each. The win is nice, but time will tell if this win provides some confidence. Week 4 poses another interesting test as the Duje’s Boys take on the Stampede.

7

(2-1)

This was an example of a team that did not look the same as in the previous weeks. They had a very poor shooting night as they only managed to shoot 35.7 percent from the field as a team in their Week 3 loss to Island Time. While this was not a strong showing, we shouldn’t expect John Patterson to 0-for-6 again anytime soon.

8

(2-1)

After losing their first game of the season, the Bucket Chasers have recovered with their second-straight win. No matter the opponent, scoring 114 points in a game is an impressive feat. Kevin Figueiredo dominated in the paint with 43 points on nearly perfect shooting. Next week they will be facing a real challenge as they go up against Good U.

9

(1-2)

The Goodfellas have lost two-straight after beating the Halfway Crooks in the first game of the season. Both losses were to undefeated teams. They will face another challenge next week as they square off against the Werewolves in what should be a measuring stick game for the new team.

10

(0-3)

The Halfway Crooks continue to play in close games. However, they have not been able to pull out a win to this point. They had four players score in double digits in their Week 3 loss to the Duje’s Boys, led by Kevin McCartney’s 20 points. They will hope to turn things around next week against the Boston Blazers, a team they knocked out of the playoffs last season.

11

(1-2)

Island Time picked up their first win of the season against Stampede. It did not come easily though. A mental lapse at the end of regulation sent it to overtime where they were able to pull through and win by five. They should try to build on the positives from their first win in Week 4 when they face off against the Ozone Boys.

12

(1-2)

The Ozone Boys played this game with a lot of confidence. There were some moments were it seemed more like a dunk contest than a game. They ran away with it early and did not look back against the Shady Dunkers. They received double-digit scoring contributions from six members of the team, and will need to keep that up in future weeks to be successful.

13

(0-3)

The Shady Dunkers seemed outmatched once again. They have some capable scorers in Kennsy Marte who dropped 23 points this week and Caleb Harris who scored 20. Unfortunately, they have not received much help from the rest of the team, as the next highest scorer only had five points. They will look to pick up their first win in Week 4 against the also-winless Basket Hounds.

14

(0-3)

The Basket Hounds are lacking in size, and it has once again proved to be detrimental in their Week 3 loss to the Bucket Chasers. They continue to show some improvement offensively, but need to find a way to limit their opponents scoring. Too many easy points in the paint are being given up each week. A matchup against the Shady Dunkers in Week 4 sets up a  for a good opportunity for both teams to earn their first win.
