The Flint Tropics took a bit of a step back from last week, but Mike Bozzuto, Nick Japs, and Dom Migliaro continued their strong play this season in a 65-44 win over Scott’s tots. They have their biggest game of the season coming up  against the only other remaining undefeated team in Run TMC. In what is possibly a Finals preview, the Flint Tropics will be looking to avenge a Semifinal loss from a season ago while also sending a message to the rest of the league.

Run TMC continues to perform well in this current stretch of tough games. In a 72-64 win over Sportslook after two off weeks, Reggie Stewart started to look like himself again dropping 26 points. Run TMC will need to have another strong performance next week as they play the also undefeated Flint Tropics in a Semifinal rematch with the top spot in the Power Rankings on the line.

(3-2)

Shocker City got back to looking like Shocker City. After suffering back-to-back losses for the first time in the Legacy Leagues, they responded with authority by having a throwback Shocker City performance and dominating the entire way against Tune Squad. They will look to build off this momentum in a matchup against the Silly Sehnders in Week 6.

(3-2)

Redeem Team had a tough outing losing 97-64 to Nickstrong, but they only had three players show up. Redeem Team has the talent to be one of the best teams in the league, but they have had a big issue with attendance. They need to give Eric Singleton and Melquan Horton some well-deserved rest. Redeem Team will need their entire team when they take on Sportslook in Week 6.

(3-2)

After beating Shocker City a couple weeks back Sportslook has suffered back-to-back losses. They hung in against Run TMC for as long as they could, but towards the end they were just unable to close the gap. This is a good team and they should be in every game, but they need to figure out how to consistently play like they did two weeks ago against Shocker City. They have another tough game against Redeem Team up next.

6

(2-3)

NickStrong has built some momentum with back-to-back wins. This is a team that has shown they can be in every game. NickStrong will never quit, but  you do have to consider that they played a three-man Redeem Team squad in Week 5. They have an interesting matchup with a Tune Squad team next week that matches up well with NickStrong.

7

(2-3)

Tune Squad has had a very inconsistent season so far this season. One week you are thinking this is a very dangerous team, and the next they seem to underperform. Jaden Battle and Chad Mckoy are two of the top players in the league, but Tune Squad has struggled with its depth scoring. They go up against NickStrong next week in a game that can prove big for playoff seeding.

(1-4)

Scott’s Tots really struggled in their game against the Flint Tropics this week, struggling to make shots and get any momentum going. They have talent on this team, but they have just been really inconsistent so far and unable to use their talent to get them wins. They match-up against the Brick Layers next week, and cannot take that as a win for granted.

9

(1-4)

The Silly Sehnders earn their first win in the Legacy Leagues, but it certainly did not come easy. They had to make clutch shots down the stretch in order to beat the Brick Layers. The Silly Sehnders should be trying to build momentum off of their win as they get ready to take on a Shocker City team that appears to have found their groove.

10

(0-5)

The Brick Layers were so close to getting their first win of the season in a crushing loss to Silly Sehnders. This is a team that has gotten better every week that they have played, and you can tell they are so close to getting over the hump to get their first win. Jason Binder has been by far and away the best play for the Brick Layers, and I expect him to have another strong game against Scott’s Tots in Week 6.
