The Werewolves came out blazing in the second half of the game to win commandingly against the Halfway Crooks, 88-51. These teams were pretty even going up against each other when the Werewolves had a single-digit lead heading into halftime. Once halftime started, the Werewolves took off and never once looked back.
The Halfway Crooks had an all-around difficult night shooting and playing defense with only having five guys available. The Werewolves were ready to play this week and pick up where they left off after winning last week against Ball Don’t Lie.
The Werewolves played great team basketball in Week 4. Everyone on the team scored double digits points, except for one player. The player who stood out in this game was Brian Heston. Heston scored 21 points, shooting 53-percent from the field, five assists, and an astounding 21 rebounds. Heston was four rebounds from out-rebounding the entirety of the Halfway Crooks.
The Halfway Crooks shot 35-percent from the field with Brandon Sweeney leading the team in scoring. Sweeney scored 20 points on 38-percent shooting along with eight rebounds. Jared Hanson was second in scoring with 12 points on 40-percent shooting and five rebounds.
For the Halfway Crooks, they face Lob City next week looking to change things. They will have a tough matchup as Lob City picked up a big win in Week 4 against Good U, who was undefeated before their Week 4 showdown. The Halfway Crooks will look to pull off the upset next week.
