Boom-Shakalaka stays atop the rankings for another week, and are now just one of two teams remaining without a loss. The addition of Nate Stichell might have helped distance themselves from rest of the teams in the league with the way he plays against the Halfway Crooks in Week 3. A showdown with the Green Squad in Week 4 should be one of the best games of the week and will be a good test for this veteran team.

The Swish Kabobs jump up a spot after dominating the Wild Hogs in Week 3. This team’s speed and length has posed problems for teams so far this season. All eight players scored this past week, showing the team’s depth. The Swish Kabobs will be favored to continue their winning streak when they take on the winless Halfway Crooks in Week 4.

(2-1)
The Green Squad entered Week 3 coming off a tough loss to the Swish Kabobs. They responded in Week 3 by dominating Prestige Worldwide. Cody Crawford hit three after three, finishing with 37 points. His teammate Vic Kashouh Jr was not to be outdone, recording a triple-double (34 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists). Crawford and Kashouh Jr have the pieces around them to challenge any team in this league.

(2-1)
Prestige Worldwide got blown out by the Green Squad in Week 3, and was noticeably missing Bryan Yarce. They shot 30.8 percent from the floor and 21.1 percent from deep, percentages that won’t win them many games. Zachary Fraiellie was a bright spot (16 points, 7 rebounds) who will have to continue playing well even when Yarce returns. The Average Joe’s are up next in Week 4.

(2-1)
The Werewolves won their second-straight game as they take down Average Joe’s this past week. Even though they beat the Average Joe’s by 23, the game was closer than that due to sloppy play by both teams. The Werewolves shot 43.2 percent from the floor, and will need to keep shooting it well when they take on a pesky Wild Hogs team next week.

(0-3)
The Wild Hogs are one of three teams still searching for their first win. After battling a Prestige Worldwide team down to the wire in Week 2, they got blown off the court by the Swish Kabobs in Week 3. The team seemed divided at times when things didn’t go their way. The talent is there, as leaders Mike Bandieri and Joey Coro have proven they can bring it every week. A date with the 2-1 Werewolves up next will be a good test for this team to show who they are.

(0-3)
The Halfway Crooks are now 0-3 all-time against Boom-Shakalaka after losing to them in Week 3 to fall to 0-3 on the season. The Hlafway Crooks saw the first half scoring woes resurface from last season, only scoring 13 points through the first 20 minutes. Only one player scored in double-figures (Jared Hanson), and that is a problem. The undefeated Swish Kabobs are up next in Week 4.

(0-3)
The Average Joe’s remain in the last spot after Week 3 as they fall to the Werewolves by the smallest margin of any game this week. They have shown signs of improvement each week, but the shooting struggles continue to be a problem. A matchup against Prestige Worldwide in Week 4 may get ugly in a hurry, but the Average Joe’s have some size that could make things interesting in the future.
