The defending champs proved once again as to why they deserve to be in the top spot. They picked up an 81-67 win over The Chasers Monday night and made it look easy against a tough opponent. As usual they were led by Davon Pratt who had 24 points, and Jason Hernandez also had himself a big night as he picked up 22 points in the win. Look for this team to definitely be there at the end barring a huge upset.

The Flint Tropics made it look easy Monday night against NickStrong. They dominated all night in their 92-67 win. Once again, Mike Bozzuto was on fire especially from three point range as he dropped 25 points. The depth of this team has been one of their main strengths all year. That depth is going to be crucial as they look to make run to the Finals.

Run TMC won their fourth game of the season narrowly beating out the Young Kings, 99-92. Thanks to Reggie Stewart and Erick Langston who both had 30 and 26 points respectively, Run TMC was able to pick up the win. If those two show up come playoff time, this team is as good as it gets. If they both are on the floor they can dominate and also create some great shot opportunities for sharp shooters Joey Zocco and Howie Miller.

Coming off of a bye, Sportslook will face off against NickStrong next week. Sportslook is coming off of a very impressive win over the Rim Breakers in Week 5. One of the most overlooked teams in league, Jeff Norko and the resurgence of Tyrell Holmes are going to be huge for this team heading into the last weeks of the regular season. Look for them to make some serious noise in the playoffs.

After losing to Shocker City, The Chasers fall to .500 on the season. This team has been in almost every game this season, they just need to finish stronger in the final minutes of the game. A team with a serious size advantage with Dominique Langston and David Armstrong, The Chasers could make a playoff run if they can get some improved chemistry and start hitting shots more consistently.

A tough loss Monday night for Team Moose came at the hands of the Rim Breakers. A costly injury to Brad Seaman may prove detrimental as we come down to the final few weeks of the season. Team Moose does have some other stars that they can lean on going forward. Dan Naddaff and Matt Mazzochi will have to shoulder the load in the absence of Seaman.

The Rim Breakers picked up the win against Team Moose 76-60. Gerald McLease had a huge night tallying 30 points, with all of them coming from three-point range. Carl Fairfax was also on fire collecting five threes and 18 total points. This team is littered with talent, they just need to tighten up on defense and get more consistent effort on offense.

NickStrong took the loss Monday against a powerhouse Flint Tropics squad. Anthony Vessicchio and Michael Vessecchio led the team with 29 points and 18 points respectively. It’s been a tough season for NickStrong as they have once again been faced with a short bench. This team has the talent to compete and have been in a ton of close games, but have been unable to finish games out.

The Young Kings put up a good fight against Run Tmc. DJ Foster had an astounding 35 points and Destin Simmons added 25 points of his own.  In the end, it was too much Reggie Stewart and Erick Langston for them to handle. The Young Kings will look to rebound next week against the Rim Breakers, a game they will need another explosion from Foster to stay competitive.
